My Day 3 Challenge for you is to really begin to be impeccable with what you say to yourself – your self talk.
How are you talking about the pain that you are feeling in your body?
Do you talk about it a lot? And when you talk about it, do you talk about it with resentment? Or fear?
It’s not easy to embrace something that is hurting you, but a lot of times we know that we need acknowledgment and the pain is truly something that’s going on for whatever reason you’re feeling that pain or experiencing that experience, it must, maybe, need a little acknowledgment.
Acknowledge Your Chronic Pain so You Can Let it Go
I’m not saying you need to go around telling people how much you love your pain.
But in your mind, just for today, I want you to acknowledge the pain that you’re feeling whether it’s physical or emotional.
Oh, you know, you begin to get that knot in your stomach.
Instead of cursing it or wishing it away, embrace it first. Say “Wow! I need to understand why that feeling is there.”
Begin a conversation with your body that is totally different than what you’ve ever had before.
That’s my challenge for you today – to embrace the pain that you’re having whether it’s emotional or physical and have a conversation about “Hmmmm… I wonder why this is going on for me today?”
So that’s my challenge for you today.
